Migrating off Wix
Wix is a hosted site builder that doesn't really let you leave. The HTML it produces is opaque, the URLs are non-portable by default, and there is no 'export' button worth the name. Migrating off Wix is closer to a rebuild than a transfer.

What Wix is
Wix is a hosted website builder targeting non-technical users. It's good at getting a site online quickly. It's bad at letting that site exist anywhere else.
We can still help — but the work is different. We use the live Wix site as the design and content reference and rebuild it as a static site from scratch. The visual result is the same, the URLs end up portable (no /post-page-id-... gibberish), and you stop paying Wix.
We're upfront about this: Wix migrations are usually quoted as Custom-tier projects rather than the standard €600 plan, because the work is closer to a rebuild than a content lift. Get an assessment to see your specific case.
What to know before migrating
- Wix's HTML is intentionally not portable. You can't just download and re-host.
- Wix's URLs use platform-specific patterns (/post/page-id) that don't survive a migration without a redirect map.
- Wix's apps (booking, store, blog) are platform-locked — they need static-friendly replacements.
- If you have a Wix Stores ecommerce site, we're not the right fit. Static + ecommerce is a different problem.

Will my Wix Stores or Wix Bookings still work?
On a static site, no. Those are app-driven dynamic features. We can route bookings to Cal.com or similar, and we can recommend a different stack if you actively need ecommerce. Get an assessment first.
