E-commerce platform

Shopify and static migration

Shopify is built for one job — running an online store — and it does it well. If you're actively selling, stay on Shopify. We exist for a different problem.

You don't need this service

What Shopify is

Shopify is the leading hosted e-commerce platform. Plans range from $5/month (POS-only) to $399/month and beyond.

The only reason to land on a Shopify migration page from us is if you've shut down the store but want to keep the brand pages, the blog, and the about page online. We can do that — render the public content, drop the cart, ship a static archive.

If your store is still live and processing orders, our automated assessment will flag it red. That's not a rejection — it's an honest 'we can't replace what Shopify does for you'. Try Shopify Lite or a different solution.

What to know before migrating

  • If you have inventory, payments, or active orders: not our service.
  • Shopify's checkout, cart, customer accounts, and discount codes don't migrate.
  • What does migrate: product pages (as content), blog posts, about/contact pages, and any other 'brochure' content on the storefront.

Stays the same

  • Brand pages, blog content, about/contact
  • Image assets
  • Domain

What changes

  • Checkout disappears (intentionally)
  • Cart disappears (intentionally)
  • Customer accounts disappear

Our take

We don't compete with Shopify. We complement it on the way out — when an entrepreneur winds down a store but wants to keep the website itself online as a portfolio of what was built.

Questions

Can you turn my Shopify store into a static site I can sell from?

No — selling on a static site requires either a third-party cart (Snipcart, Ecwid) or a different platform. That's outside our scope. We handle pure brochure content.
